A First Basmen Asks: Wilson vs. Rawlings?
I will soon be getting a first base mitt, and I want to know, what should I get? I already have two A2000 fielders glove (11 and 11 3/4 i think), but might wanna try a new style. I’m currently in the 7th grade (almost 8th cause school’s almost out) and would like the glove to last me throughout high school and maybe beyond. I play in a pretty competitive travel league 13u in West Michigan.
The only rawlings I own is a first base mitt. I like wilson for everything else, but I just didnt like the glove pattern for first base wilson gloves.

Traveling Miles $4.84 Cassandra Wilson’s tribute to Miles Davis, Traveling Miles, is nothing if not ambitious–easily on par with the other slew of Davis tribs. Covering the great trumpeter’s long career is alone quite a challenge, but Wilson sets her goals even higher by writing new lyrics and arrangements that make these tunes her own. The result is a pleasure that ends up capturing Wilson’s spirit as well as Davis’s… |

The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy [Blu-ray] $8.61 Don’t panic! After twenty years stuck in development (a mere blink compared to how long it takes to find the answer to life, the universe, and everything), The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy has finally been turned into a movie. Following the radio play, TV series, commemorative towel, and books, this latest installment in the sci-fi-comedy franchise is based on the screenplay and detailed note… |

Planet of the Apes [Blu-ray] $10.93 Many early science fiction films are now, quite inadvertently (and in most cases undeservedly), objects of camp attention: we laugh at the silly makeup, tin-can special effects, and the naive “high-tech” dialogue. Planet of the Apes is no such film. Its intelligent script, frightening costuming, and savagely effective conclusion (which needs no big-budget special effects to augment its impact) rem… |

Idiocracy $6.99 Given that Office Space is a bona fide cult classic, it comes as some surprise that Mike Judge’s follow-up wasn’t more heavily promoted. Granted, this live-action comedy is a darker, more pointed proposition, but it’s unfortunate that few theater patrons got the opportunity to, well, judge for themselves. In Idiocracy, the King of the Hill creator visualizes what would happen if Devo’s proposition… |
